When you return home... is a Berlin-focused research project about notions of home, family, displacement and belonging in the global, networked age. Conducting interviews with current inhabitants (both long-term and temporary) of Berlin from across the breadth of socio-economic stratum, the project intends to contribute to existing dialogues about our "place" in contemporary society.

Collar Weights is a collaboration between Alexandra Gillespie and Somaya Langley to produce a mixed media installation combining audio, electronics and fabric in order to address notions of notions of power and control, social stratification and status through the object of the collar and its role in society.
We will present an artist talk on Collar Weights at ISEA in Singapore, July 2008.
Mobile Patters is a wearable work exploring the imperceptible world of radio frequencies, mobile phones and "semi-private" spaces constructed by individuals in metropolitan environments.
